coming out on top

my life could not get any better! this last week we were able to travel around a little bit again and it was absolutely incredible! we left wednesday morning and drove about 2 hours to oxford university. we were given most of the day to explore oxford and see what was around. with blue skies above, the day was amazing! we were able to go explore christ's college in oxford. we walked around the cathedral in christ's college and then we were lucky enough to go inside the great hall where they filmed HARRY POTTER! surprise! all of you thought i came here with byu but it was really cause i've been accepted into hogwarts! (only joking) but really it was a good time!

alright so wednesday night we drove to stratford upon avon and went to a play. we were able to see a winter's tale by shakespeare. i have a hard time understanding their language but i LOVED this play!

thursday morning we woke up and went to the house that anne hathaway (shakespeare's wife) grew up in! it's so quaint and adorable! before we had our tour inside the house, we were able to wander around the outside and the land of her home. did i mention we had blue skies again? SO PRETTY!

ok so this is our cute hotel we stayed in while we were in stratford. 

i had to capture it because it's so quaint and adorable!

alright well after we visited anne's home we were able to visit shakespeare's home that he grew up in. also, we were able to see where the two were married AND where shakespeare was buried!

friday was such an incredible day, i don't know if anything can top it! we went to WARWICK CASTLE! INCREDIBLE! i LOVED ever second of it and could've spent days and days here.

after we went to warwick castle we stopped in coventry and went to this cathedral that was bombed during WWII. it was so beautiful even though half of it wasn't there...

when we got home on friday night we decided to go get some groceries. we walked down into the tube and came across this crowd of people...

but we were able to get some delicious food

i've been craving diet coke so i thought this would help solve my problems... it has!

saturday night jsacob and anna invited me and kenna over to eat dinner with them! home cooked meals have never tasted so good before! its always a good time with them!

sunday we went to church and had a blessed day in primary! monday and tuesday we had classes. BUT tuesday night i went and saw... (drum roll please) WICKED!! lets just say it was absolutely incredible! ill post more about it in my next blog. for now it's time for me to go to sleep!
