adventure time

i'm in awe at how incredible this city is! there has not been a bad day yet where we are just bored and have nothing to do. we've even repeated a few things and it's just as amazing as the first time.

k well tuesday morning instead of having class we went on a walk with our group to explore and see the city. we jumped on the tube and when we got off we came up from underground and looked straight out across the thames and guess what we saw? the LONDON EYE. well we all started freaking out and a few seconds later our professor told us to look up. WE WERE STANDING BENEATH BIG BEN! wow! it is seriously BEAUTIFUL! not just big ben but also the house of parliament. all of the detail in the building is incredible.

as we continued our walk we stopped outside of west minster abbey, took pictures with horses, went to trafalgar square and took pictures on the lions. we walked around leicester square and saw the theatre district where we will be going to lots of plays. also, we saw st. pauls cathedral, went to boroughs market, crossed the LONDON BRIDGE, and from a distance we saw the famous tower bridge.

we ran into these astronauts and of course had to get pictures!

did i mention we went to HERRODS? we walked in and they had the most delicious looking ice cream so of course we had to try it! it was divine.

ok ok on to the next day.

wednesday was just as amazing as the day before. we were able to tour through kensington palace! these are just a few of the many royalties that we saw.

this staircase was absolutely beautiful!

we even got to try on clothes!

only joking don't have a heart attack

basically every day we've been here has been wonderful but last night we went to our very first play and were able to see big ben and the london eye all lit up!

this was such a good play and an amazing first play to see in london!
