well i feel like i always have so much to say because so much happens everyday.
thursday we had class and didn't do too much because we all had homework to work on so i decided to be studious and work on homework.
friday though was awesome! we got to go to the tower of london! the crown jewels are incredible! they are so big and just absolutely stunning!
this is my best friend, mckenna, and for all of you who don't know her, you should!
my cute little kinder egg!
the tower bridge
lunch time we get hungry and pound food
snog isn't very good i decided... i wouldn't suggest it. ever.
my poor coat ripped and mckenna felt so bad
she wouldn't stop apologizing
saturday was awesome! seriously the best day since i've been here. we woke up early that morning and had a 10 mile hike. (it was more like a 10 mile leisurely walk) but it was so pretty! we went to kent which is out in the countryside and its gorgeous! they have the cutest little cottages. i could totally picture myself living here! i love it.
rain boot weather
we love our rain boots!
my future cottage!
mckenna always knows how to make a dull moment exciting!
kitten mittens!
this was a church we stopped at along the way and it had like tombstones out front. interesting.
we've had way too much sugar this trip! but its all soo good! except for the ginger beer. not a fan.
on our hike we met george and he was kind enough to show us the good places to eat around here on saturday night. we had a friend from london! yay!
this picture describes me and mckenna to a T! classic
george was also kind enough to show us st. pauls for a whole new perspective.
this view topped seeing big ben and the london eye! seriously the most beautiful thing i've ever seen
basically saturday was an incredible day! one that i will never forget!
on sunday we went to church. this time it only took us an hour! yay for us! but this is the road my church is on!
(this picture is in honor of alex. love you!)
alright so sunday night was interesting. me and mckenna decided we wanted to go to startbucks to skype our families and as we were walking down the stairs we came upon a note stuffed in the railing. mckenna didn't think it was important or for her so she didn't open it but me being the nosy person i am wanted to read it. it says this...
well on the inside i was told i was the lucky winner who got to visit his and her royal hignesses in flat 2 and i could bring three guests with me. me and three other girls were able to go the the royal palace!
spent the evening in great company with our religion professor and his new bride as of 3 weeks! sipped hot cocoa, had refreshments, and had very interesting conversation! but it was definitely a night to remember!
his and her royal highness and my crew
alright so monday and today we just had class then had homework to work on so we didn't go out to do much but it rained and we wanted to test out the new umbrellas so we did! don't mind my wild choice of clothing... i get bored sometimes.
my favorite part about the weekend though was getting to facetime with my family! especially these two pretty faces! missing and loving you!

So fun Chels! I love reading your blog, so keep posting updates on fb. You look darling and like your having a great time! I love that you are able to communicate with your family and document all this. Back in the good ole' days...ha... I called only a few times I was over there, and it was always a quick collect call. I also only took 6 rolls of film, so take some extra pics for me! Thank heavens for technology! Love your boots btw! :)
